Who we are

Red Mountain 4-H is primarily focused on raising small stock animals and community service projects.  They will also provide support to Large Stock members as needed, as well as opportunities to prepare General Projects and Communication Day Entries. Each member of the club with an animal project will receive help and guidance regardless of skill level, including helping to select project(s), proper care and nutrition for your animal, preparing for showmanship, and how to complete a record book. This club believes in learning by doing, and club members, as they grow, become mentors and lead clinics for their peers. The club members march in the Annual Veterans' Day Parade and take pride in volunteering on service projects throughout the year, with numerous service opportunities.  A favorite event is the annual Spring Citrus Harvest, in which they harvest and donate to Hopi Relief to provide food boxes to elderly families.
